Some More April Hip Kit!

I am on a roll with these layouts! I can’t get enough of these fun and inviting kits. This time I went over board and man I’m glad I did! Here is the layout I came up with!

I don’t mean to toot my own horn but I am in love with this layout!

Have you ever sat at your craft desk and just looked at all the products and think, where do I begin??? Yep that was me. I honestly didn’t know where to start and had no direction. I picked out some things in the collection that I liked and honestly just went from there.

I am so glad I didn’t hold back on my creative process and second guess myself on placement. I seriously used every product in the main kit lol! Well I hope you all enjoy this and of course the process video is below!

Hip Kit Club!! April Layout

OK!! OK!! You guy’s I am over the moon about this monthly subscription box!! The Hip Kit Club! I subscribed for 3 months but I can already tell that I will be continuing my subscription. I mean if you love scrapbooking, this is a fantastic club to be apart of. You get all the new products and a great mixture of colors, textures, patterns, mix media and embellishments. Here is what you get in just the main kit, which is what I get each month.

So you can only imagine my excitement when I recieved this kit in the mail. I couldn’t wait to get started! So here is what I came up with.

I forgot to mention that if you subscribe to the hip kit club, you recieve free cut files each month! So I decided to incorporate these cute files, I adjusted the size to what I wanted and boom!

One thing I will do for my future kit is to order the paper add on. I had to use some of my scraps on this layout but if I had ordered the paper add on, I could have done a lot more pages and layering around my photos. Also when you order add on packages, you get free shipping! It comes with the main kit or project life main kit, so your not paying extra for all that shipping. Its just a flat rate no matter how much you order! WINNING!

Well I hope you go over to Hip Kit Club website and check out what they have to offer. I promise you, that you won’t be disappointed! Check out my Process Video Below.

My Minds Eye & Maggie Holmes Layout

Hi friends! I am back with another process video! This time I am using My Minds Eye-My Story Collection and Maggie Holmes- Flea Marker 6×6 paper pad. What do you think..?

I don’t know about you but I love a good striped background with some pops of flowers. I am not a professional photographer nor do I take classes but I was pretty impressed with my photo taking skills on this photo. My children were swinging and I just happen to take the perfect photo of her. When I did edit it on Instagram, it came out amazing in black and white.

So back to the layout! I used only what I had on hand and that was a few chipboard pieces of this flower and words. I did also have a sticker sheet that did go with the MME chipboard, so I incorporated some stickers as well.

I used some white paint on the black and white striped paper to give it a little mixed media look. You don’t have to be intimidated by mixed media, it’s seriously just a beautiful mess of paints, inks, stencils and whatever else you have on hand. JUST GOT FOR IT! This layout came together very quickly and I just LOVE it! It really is eye catching. Hope you all have a great week! Below is the process video!

Shimelle(Starshine,True Stories) Basic Grey (Saturday Morning) PL Layout

Good Morning my crafty friends! Last night I uploaded a PL process video. It’s been awhile since I have done a 12×12 PL layout and It felt so good to get back to using the 12×12 layout. Last week I did a haul video about my DIY scrapbooking, project life, mini album kit that was under $30. So some of my viewers wanted to see how I was going to use those products.

So again it felt great using the 12×12 layout and using some fun and new products. Here is some photos of the layout.

This is the picture I drew inspiration from. I love this little rocket ship slide and that’s what made me think of Shimelle and her new collection Starshine.

I love these little clouds on the top right. They are made from a die cut from paper smooches.

Well I hope you all have a great week! Process video is below.
