So this week was a layout inspired by Missy Whidden. 13327590_10154309243522566_670738882309753605_n

So I challenged myself and came up with something to go along with the guidelines

I used the cut file from the Hip Kit Club Download section. I also wanted to use some of my exclusive ephemera’s from Kim Watson. My Favorite part of this layout is those feathers! I hope you all enjoy and as always there is a process video listed below!

May Hip Kit Club- Layout #2

Hi Guys! I am back with another layout using the May Hip Kits! I love a focal point layout and that’s exactly what I went for! 6dc75763-3b46-4ab6-bc2c-0cbb7bb901ff

I just love how this layout turned out! I love the bold bright colors and those clouds! The illustrated faith collection really does it for me! Kim Watson really did a great job with the exclusive’s this month. They go perfect with the SHE BLOOMS collection.

Well I hope you all liked this layout and below is a process video!

Love, Love,Love,Love

Hey ya’ll! I am back with a layout that is oh so dear to my heart. This layout was hard to do at one point during the process. See this is our family dog Hunter, and Hunter passed away a couple of months ago. It has been the hardest thing to go through especially with our children. I will never forget having to tell our children that he will no longer be with us.. Okay I crying now but Anyways I wanted to document this photo of him.

I think it’s important to document that good and bad of life. It reminds us of why we are grateful for what we have and what it took to get there. I wanted to do a little mixed media with this layout, so I got the black paint out and just let the paint brush go! It was so fun!

I also used a cute file from Ashley Horton and the paper I used for the cut file is Pebbles Everyday 6×6 Paper Pad by Jen Hadfield I have used every single paper in this paper pad and I love that feeling! Nothing like using every bit of product you have. Money well spent!
Well I hope you all enjoy and go check out my YouTube channel for more fun layouts and projects!

May Hip Kits- Layout #1

Oh my goodness!! Have you all seen the May Hip Kits?!?!?!

This is just the main kit but seriously guys!! look at that pretty paper!! well I opened this box up and couldn’t wait to dive in! I knew I wanted to use this Illustrated Faith “she blooms” paper and I knew I wanted to use the cut file from Kim Watson. So Here is what I came up with!!

EEK!! I love it! lol! I don’t mean to toot my own horn but I just love when something I think up in my head comes together so nicely! I had multiple photos and I loved how I could use all of them in one layout, that’s why I love this cut file so much. Can you spot my little babe?

No mixed media in this layout, but you would never know with this exclusive paper from Kim Watson. She did such a great job with this months exclusive. If your wondering how I used this cut file in my own way, click the video below to watch the whole process.

Butterfly Reflections Ink Design Team- Sweet Love

Hey Ya’ll I’m back with another 12×12 layout using the 6×6 Everyday Paper Pad from Jen Hadfield by Pebbles. I used about four different pattern papers from the collection in this layout. I love a bright bold color and I love my floral, so as you can see I have a great mixture of both!6f218602-66ee-4350-b8b8-2e908aeda0e0

I am also using Ashley Horton cut files. I love a good cute file for when I am not feeling like pulling out my mixed media. I just feel like the pattern papers really made this cut file pop! I went ahead and made my own flowers again to incorporate some of the colors and the flower that is in my daughters hair in the picture.

I used the Pinkfresh Studio Glitter Word Stickers again. I really love how I can come up with a quick and cute title with these stickers, it really is a time saver! I hope you are all enjoying these layouts. Let me know if there is something you would like to see in an up and coming project in the comments below or just a friendly hello will do to! See you all next week! Video Below!
Thank you,

Best Ever

I am here today with my very first layout for the Butterfly Reflections Ink Design Team!! I am so excited to share this with you all! 1960d683-7672-46a7-870a-b7afac63379b

I used Studio Calico wood flower veneers and painted them coordinating colors. To match the 6×6 pattern paper by Jen Hadfield. I am also loving Pinkfresh Studio new line the Felicity Collection. I always have a hard time coming up with a title’s that are clever or that aren’t like a sentence long, so these Glitter Word Foam Stickers are perfect for me! I can whip up a title in no time! They not only have word stickers but they also came with stars, leaves and arrows, so I incorporated some leaves as well.

Last thing I want to mention is Pinkfresh Studio’s sequin studio puffy stickers you all know the struggle is real when it comes to sequin…Am I right? well this set comes as stickers! wow! that was definitely a game changer for me.Well folks I hope you enjoyed my very first project here on Butterfly Reflections Ink. I will have a process video of this layout over on my YouTube channel tonight! I hope you come back by and see what other fun projects I have in store for you!

National Scrapbook Week Layout #2

Here I am with my second layout using the Fancypants Designs Attwell Collection.

I wanted to show you all that you don’t have to have a silhouette machine to make a cute pattern background. As you will see in the process video, all I did was cut strips of paper at an angel. You could paper punch out some circles and come up with a cute pattern too. The options are endless.

I really like how the feather paper really pops in the background. I layered the back of my photo to give it some heigth and to bring in some more colors. I used some of the puffy stickers  as well. I hope you all check out the process video below!

This Collection gave me a funky, punk, modern feel. The colors are bright and the pattern paper is something I haven’t ever witnessed before and I appreciate that! I like different, who wants the same pattern and print we all have seen before??

I decided to bring in a cut file from Ashley Horton from The Cut Shoppe. If you don’t know Ashley or have never seen her amazing cut files, I highly suggest you check her out! you won’t be disappointed. So I back the cut file with some pattern papers from the collection and I really liked how it turned out.
