Adventure Awaits! July Hip Kits

So every month I am always blowin away with the Hip Kits. I honestly feel like it’s Christmas when my kit arrives. The funny thing is, I know whats in the box already lol! That’s when you know you are doing what makes you happy! So let’s see what I came up with this months goodies!

When I get the kit each month, I never know where to begin and that can sometimes be overwhelming.. but I feel like I did good for this being my first layout. I didn’t go to overboard with all the products..

I love anything Bella Blvd, so when I seen these chipboard words I knew what I wanted to do with them right away. I took three of the same warm tone watercolors and layered them on the chipboard. I then took water and blended them together to give them an umbra effect. I love how it looks like the sunset.

There is always exclusive papers in each months kits. I went straight for the most colorful and bright paper to make this background pop. I literally dropped the strips the paper on the white card stock and then glued them down. I also cut out these black and white diamond and placed them under and over the strips of paper for interest.

Well I hope you all enjoyed this layout and below is a process video!

Smitten & Cute

Hello Everyone and Happy FRIYAY!! I am back with another layout! This time I am working with the Pink Paisley C’est La Vie Collection. Oh LA LA! This collection really reminds me of something elegant, pretty, and sophisticated. So that’s what I went for in this layout. I wanted something simple but pretty.0bbb0965-7a07-4ae9-b5ec-6876ddd0eda7

I love these flowers and the cluster that’s going on, on in the upper left corner. I also love the Gold Foil Jumbo Stickers that go along with this collection. I used the Amy Tangerine Rise and Shine Foam Stickers for a title.

This Me + You heart is perfect for my layout. These Puffy Stickers are the prettiest puffy stickers and are so fun to work with. I also used some of Maggie Holmes butterflies. I had those laying on my desk forever and they went well with the layout.
So that pretty much wraps up my layout for this week and be looking out for a process video over on my YouTube channel! See you all next week!!

June Hip Kit Scrapbook Layout!

Hey ya’ll I am back with another layout using the June Hip Kits!! This time I kept my layout simple but eye catching and those combos are a perfect match in my world! This is a good way to use up scraps of pattern paper you have laying around. So lets see what I came up with!

See what I mean by simple but eye catching?? I used a cut file from a previous month from the Hip Kits free download section. If you sign up for newsletters, you will receive free cut files…YEP! FREE! You do have to create an account but well worth it! I wanted to use all my cool tone papers in the June kits and I feel like I had a good variety of patterns and colors. I also used the ephemera pack in the June kits as well. Hope you all enjoy! there is a process video below!

Happy Birthday!

Happy Friday yall!! I am back with another layout and I am using the Fancy Pants Happy Place Collection!! I love this collection. I like how its not to girly or not to boyish. It’s really a great mixture. So here is what I came up with for my first layout!95ff7215-9905-44b3-8bc2-a01da20f431b

I wanted to do a mixed media back ground and use these left over paper hearts I had laying on my desk. I just picked out some colors that I thought went with the collection and BOOM! there’s my layout!
I also used the Happy Place Script Word Stickers on this layout. This was my daughters birthday party, so I used the work happy and some heart stickers that came on the same sticker sheet.
I hope you all enjoyed this layout! be looking out for the process video over on my YouTube channel!

Bloom Love!

Good Morning everyone! I hope your morning is going great. I am so happy that it’s Friday and all the fun events planned for this weekend. I am back with another layout! These products that I am using, just never get old to work with. I like to challenge myself and see what I come up with.

I love the fringe look I did with the Avery Elle 6×6 pattern papers I also used a cut file from Ashley Horton from The Cut Shoppe, I packed it with some vellum.
I have officially used up all of those Friendship Paper Pieces and I am a little sad about it. I love anything with flowers, hearts, rainbows, clouds, raindrops…Pretty much SPRING! but my favorite season is Fall. ha ha!
I made a boo boo on this layout. When I started to use my Heidi Swapp Color Shine, It literally went everywhere. It was all over my arm and fingers and I had one of those moments where I was like “How did this happen?” and then I look down at the page! Oh NO!! The color shine was splattered on  the letter O and on the planted flower. Such a bummer but what can you do? I hope you all enjoyed this as much as I do and see you all soon!
