Yeah Girl Yeah!

Hey ya’ll!!

I am back with another layout using more of my August 2016 Hip Kits! I am so excited to share this layout with you all! I have been in a funk lately with my scrapbooking and well, Stella got her groove back ya’ll! I love how this layout turned out, so let’s take a look! unnamed (35)

I think what I needed was a good cut file to kick things off. So I went and downloaded this months cut files and fell IN LOVE! We are so spoiled as hip kit subbies. We get the coolest cut files EVER!

Once I decided on what cut file to use, I back it up with crate papers cute girl rainbow ombre paper. Then I moved on to my mixed media.

I used my water colors and some acrylic paint to get this look. I just picked colors that I liked and watered them down on a piece of old packaging I had and smudged the paint onto my layout. I love that technique!

I also used up my star embellishments that came with the main kit this month. I added it to the back of my photo for some interest. How about those Dear Lizzy Thickers! These are my jam right here! I hope you all enjoyed this and as always there is a process video below!

Better Together!

Hi guys!! I am back with another layout using my Amy Tangerine Collections. I named this title after one of the collections because I find it fitting for the picture. When opening up these Paper Pads I had a hard time choosing just a couple of them, so I decided to use a few of them and combined them together.unnamed (29)

I always see people ask “how do I use these acetate pieces?” So I figured I would use a couple to show you how I use these once’s from the ephemera pack.

I also loved these Puffy Sticker. They work great on layouts and Planners. I love the way puffy stickers feel, they are just fun to play with.

I decided to go for this triangle pattern for a bit of interest. I layered the back of each triangle to bring in more color and pattern. I also just did a touch of mixed media with my black acrylic paint. Well I hope you all enjoyed this and be looking out for my process video over on my YouTube Channel!

August Hip Kits Are HERE!-Made Me Smile!

It’s here! It’s here! My August Hip Kits are Here!! I was so excited to recieve this months kits, that I couldn’t wait to get started! So let take a look at what I came up with! unnamed (19)

When I do my first layout with any kit, I am not always sure where to start or what to use. So I tend to use a lot of products on my first layout. unnamed (16)

I love that these kits have all new products from all the top designers. From Amy Tangerine, Crate Paper and Dear Lizzy. They all did such an amazing job on these new collections.

I did use some of last months products but I love using up my stash of stuff! I hope you all enjoyed and there is a process video below!

July 2016 Hip Kits-Together

Okay so we have been without a fur baby for awhile. Our dog died a couple of months ago and my daughter is really anxious to get a new one. So I often take her to the pet store to love up on some fur babies. I don’t know if this helps things or makes them worse but I like to believe it helps. I wanted to document this picture of her and one of the dogs at the pet store.

In our kits this month we received some awesome products. In the ephemra pack was this title that spell out GOOD LIFE and I loved the look and design of the piece, so I tried recreating it with the Bella Blvd Chip Board Titles. I think it came out better than what I thought it would! So I was so pleased with my title and the way it turned out!

I also love a good background paper and this one was designed by Kim Watson which is an exclusive from the Hip Kits. It already had some mixed media and flowers on it, So I just took off from there and added more! I also used one of the cut files from Ashley Horton, this heart cut file added the cherry on top for me!

I really enjoyed this layout and I felt like it came together pretty quick. I love when everything comes together so nicely. I hope you all enjoyed this layout and I will see you soon! Process video is below!
