September Hip Kits- Mini Album Series Part 3

Here is the final Phase of my mini album series! I am so happy to finish this fun little project. So lets jump in and see what I came up with.

Pretty simple layout and a lot like the other layouts. I do however try and incorporate different colors and pattern. unnamed-79

I love this little cluster. I love the little tassel from Maggie Holmes and the butterflies. I used the Simple Stories paper to bring in some more blue.

I really love this last page and the sweet pictures of my kids. I hope you all enjoyed this mini album series and as always, the video is linked below! !

Mini Album Series-Part 2

Okay I am back with part 2 of my mini album series! Sorry ya’ll I am trying to play catch up. I have been really busy with life. So here we go!!

Again I am using my September Hip Kits. I really can’t get enough of this kit. It was full of the Maggie Holmes Gather Collection and I didn’t mind one bit. I really love this photo of my daughter. This is her soul shining through right here. She is the happiest, funniest person I know.

Here is the banner that sit’s behind the photo of my daughter. I like how it includes her age. I used some of the chipboard piece’s from the crate paper cute girl collection. I LOVE THAT 12×12 Chipboard from that collection! it’s everything to my daughter.

For my title I used the Pink Fresh Studio Puffy Alphas, these are my most favorite alphas EVER! I have worked with the same ones (but in yellow) before and I was hoping they would make them in different colors.

My son’s page was a little challenging for me but I think it came together real well. Just the photo alone is great, I mean look at that handsome fella! He’s got the brains of the bunch too!

Looking through the papers I had, I came across this yellow pattern paper and this buffalo plaid pattern paper. I felt like these were masculine enough for a boy, so I went with it! I really like how it turned out. I was a little hesitant adding the gold ribbon but hey I think it turned out alright.

Okay well let me know what you think and as always the process video is below!

Mini Album Series- Part 1

When the reveal of the September Hip Kits were revealed, I knew right away I wanted to do a mini album. So I decided to break the mini album up in series. So here is part 1 of my series.

I have been collecting things for this mini album and one of the things I collected was this shabby chic frame. I feel like this matches the Maggie Holmes Collection perfect! So I knew I wanted it on the cover. I couldn’t decide if I wanted a picture in the frame or a ephemera piece. So obviously I went for this ephemera piece “from the heart”

I fussy cut out some of those beautiful flowers and punched out some butterflies. I love the mix of black and brown for the background of this cover,  I do love breaking the rules on style (ha! ha!) I also love using these Maggie Holmes Phrase stickers. The top half is gold and bottom half is rose gold. Oh yaa!

Okay for page 1, I used this beautiful music print pattern paper! can we just take a moment and stare at this paper. I don’t know why I love it so much, but I do! I punched out some more butterflies and stuck a chipboard title and called it good! OH! I also used my Martha Stewart Paper Punch to give the bottom of the paper some interest.

I hope you all enjoyed this Part 1 of my mini album series! Process Video is below!

Hello Love!!

Here it is! My fifth layout using only the main kit, from Hip Kits. I am so proud of myself for making my goodies stretch. So let’s see what I came up with!

Insert happy face!! I loved how this came out. How about that title?? Hello Love is right! Give me a big black title any day and I will rock it like no ones business! I really love a bold title.

I knew right when I seen the giraffe, that I wanted to use it. So I tried putting it on a couple of layouts and it just never made it, until now!

I also wanted to use some stars in this layout but didn’t have a cut file of stars. So I just google star clip art and printed them out on some ol copy paper. I then cut those out, traced around them onto the pattern paper. Did you get all of that? OK well If I haven’t confused you enough, there is a process video below!!
